Castrol HYSPEC

Castrol HYSPEC is the brand’s proprietary technical benchmark for evaluating hybrid engine oil performance. The brief was to create a visual identity that conveyed technical credibility and assurance, while subtly nodding to its hybrid focus.

A custom wordmark was developed, featuring a bespoke ‘C’ incorporating an electric charger motif — a distinctive visual cue to hybrid technology. Full brand guidelines were produced to govern usage across channels, and the identity was successfully applied to packaging, print, digital, and TV/film assets.
